RETURNING VOLUNTEERS - Call or Email us to volunteer for the 25th Annual Festival
We want to know if you are returning and to make it easier for you to register please call the office at 250-833-4096 (ask for Cyd or Maia), or email that you want to volunteer. Once you have done this step the next step will be for you to fill out a waiver. Simply ask us to send you a waiver if you don’t have a waiver already.
A commitment of 16 hours minimum with 4 hours dedicated to event set-up or tear down. Remaining 12 hours are split up into one 4-hour shift on each day of the Festival. New volunteers will be required to assist with teardown. Returning volunteers have the option to choose either a set-up or teardown shift. Whether you are a returning or new volunteer, you must attend one crew meeting to participate in the Festival. Returning volunteers send in your form before May 15, 2017 to confirm your volunteer area from the previous festival. After May 15th, all volunteers will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and assigned.

Must have serving it right for beer gardens, backstage, wine lounge and barn pub.

SIGN UP – All Volunteers must fill out either a youth or adult 2017 Volunteer Application Form. This form includes a Waiver that must be checked off before submitting.

May be screened with a criminal record background check (formerly known as the Security). | FIRST AID | FOOD VENDOR COORDINATOR 32 hours | GARDEN CREW 32 hours May – Aug 2017, general gardening. | ICE AND WATER To drive a vehicle, ATV or Gator you must be over the age of 19, supply to all hospitality areas. | INFO BOOTH Lost and found station. INFRASTRUCTURE 32 hours are before and after event. Carpentry, construction, forklift skills. Able to lift 35-50+ lbs. | INSTRUMENT LOCK-UP Tracking, storing and arranging for stage delivery | LOGISTICS, CASH RUNNERS | MEDIA Organizes interviews during the Festival | MERCHANDISE | PARKING | PERFORMER HOSPITALITY | PERFORMER TRANSPORTATION Transporting performers between airport, hotels and the Festival. A Class 4 license or higher is preferable for these volunteers. | RAFFLE TICKETING | SITE ELECTRICS 32 hours – Electrical experience to join this committee. | SITE TRANSPORTATION Background in operating a vehicle or ATV safely. Forklift certificate an asset. To drive a vehicle, ATV or Gator you must be 19+. | STAGE CREW – flexible hour commitment, fast paced environment. | VOLUNTEER CENTRE Check in and process all volunteers | VOLUNTEER LOUNGE Food safe. | WINE LOUNGE 19+ | VOLUNTEER PARTY COORDINATOR Set up, clean up and run the Party.
