    I'm aware of the fact that my application won’t be considered complete until I have sent in a photo ID (IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A PHOTO WITH US YOU DON'T NEED TO SEND IT IN.) (send an attached photo in a separate email with your name in it addressed to: volunteer@rootsandblues.ca.
    If I am a successful volunteer applicant, I agree to be assigned where needed.
    I understand that additional information may be required before placement on some crews.
    I understand that, I'm required to contribute a minimum of 16 hrs. (including a 4 hour set up or tear down shift depending on crew, first year volunteers must commit to a tear down shift.
    I will take responsibility to know when I'm scheduled. I will contact the Head Supervisor.
    I agree to make myself available for shifts as required and fulfill the obligations with the Festival.
    I agree to comply with the Volunteer Code of Ethics of the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival.

    Volunteer Code of Conduct

    As a volunteer you shall treat other volunteers, performers, staff, and the public with respect. If a conflict arises, resolution should be deferred to your Head Supervisor or the Volunteer Coordinator.
    Volunteers must arrive on shift sober and NO use/consumption of alcohol by any volunteer who is on duty on the Festival site. Off-duty Volunteers must not wear Volunteer T-shirts in the Beer Gardens.
    There shall be no use/consumption of illegal substances by any volunteer on the Festival site. Abuse of this will result in immediate dismissal of the volunteer(s) from the Festival.
    Failure to contribute the minimum time requirements (16 hours) or failure to fulfill shift commitments without a satisfactory reason may result in being blacklisted from the Festival.
    Volunteer Supervisors must set a positive example for other volunteers, be prepared to respond to greater expectations, take on greater responsibility, and follow through on commitments. Failure to fulfill commitments may result in replacement of the Supervisor for the next Festival.
    As a volunteer you shall not use any property belonging to the Festival for your own advantage. All volunteers must be honest and trustworthy.

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: In consideration of volunteering for the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival and or the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, I do hereby for myself, executors and administrators waive, release and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damages, including any claims of loss, damages or injury to my person or property arising from my volunteer work for the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival and or the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, the owners of any event sites, any volunteers, their agents, representatives successors and assigns.

    I've read this waiver and knowing these facts I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and waive, release and discharge volunteers, suppliers, agents, employees, and other personnel in any way assisting or connected with the events from any and all claims or liability of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of my participation, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, or agents of The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society.
